COVER STORY

all new Grant condensing boilers are future-proofed to use HVO through making a slight modification to the boiler, such as adapting the size of the fuel injector nozzle, fuel pump pressure and blast tube. Older Grant condensing boilers can also now be adapted to HVO, but this may require a new biofuel burner that is matched with the specific boiler. For those working on new build properties where a heat pump is the preferred choice of main heat source, consider Grant’s integrated heating packages for new builds. Grant’s bespoke heating packages are comprised of Grant’s innovative heating technologies that work together seamlessly. Designed, sized and specified by the Grant technical team, free of charge and with ease of installation in mind, each package helps the new build to achieve compliance, whilst benefitting from the high efficiencies for which Grant heating technologies are renowned. Typically, a Grant integrated heating package includes a main heat source, hot water storage system and heat emitters. Grant smart heating controls are also available and can be included within each package. The combination of technologies included with each heating package has been proven to improve the overall efficiency of a new build property, therefore enabling savings to be made on annual heating bills.
