BUSINESS/INDUSTRIAL INTERFACE WITH RESIDENTIAL POTENTIAL BUFFERING MEASURES
The followings are some examples of potential buffering measures between the residential area and ‘Business and Industrial Services’ that will not only provide visual screening from the business and industrial service centre land use but will also help mitigate potential odours and noise from industrial activities.
Preserving Existing Trees Maintaining the current trees to support local wildlife and preserving the natural landscape.
Maintaining Existing Greenery Maintaining the existing vegetation to preserve areas aesthetics and ecological value.
Mirroring the Residential Green Buffer Creating a green buffer similar to residential areas to provide visual screening and reduce the impact of industrial activities. Potential Walking Path Establishing a pathway along Orange Point Road to promote accessibility and recreation. This pathway would provide a safe, enjoyable route for walking and cycling and improve connectivity within the community.
