What the service offers l Individual and small-group tuition in all orchestral, band and contemporary instruments and voice l Adult tuition on all instruments available both in person and online l Whole-class ensemble teaching: general musicianship or instrumental programmes l Choirs and ensemble leaders l Short-term loan of music sets and larger instruments (e.g. percussion), subject to availability l Instrument hire scheme for pupils having lessons with HMS teachers l Practical examination sessions for our students at the Music Centre for Associated Board and Trinity College London graded exams l Staff ensembles and orchestral concerts l CPD, support and networking through termly primary and secondary music networks in partnership with School Improvement Services and funded by our Music Hub grant l Music curriculum challenge/support meetings for all Havering schools (academy and LA), also funded by our Music Hub grant l Enrichment through our many partnerships, including CPD for any colleagues teaching or observing music, creative classroom practice, world music and music tech.
