Internal Audit Service Our team of experienced, approachable, and supportive auditors provides a comprehensive assurance programme tailored to the needs of your individual school. We work to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements as well as local policy, giving you confidence in the strength of your internal controls. We offer Internal Audit services to Havering maintained schools, academies, and schools outside the borough. Havering maintained schools receive routine audits from the local authority and may also purchase a Health Check in interim years. This provides headteachers and governing bodies with assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls across key risk areas. Academies and out‑of‑borough schools are able to commission a fully tailored service based on their specific requirements.

l One‑off reviews of specific risk areas with an accompanying assurance report Academy & out of borough schools: l Reviews of pre‑agreed areas of risk with a written assurance report l Bespoke consultancy support tailored to the needs of your school All reviews are undertaken remotely.
