Local Management Information Services (LMiS) Enabling a school to realise the full potential of their Management Information System (MIS) is fundamental for the smooth running of the organisation and whole school improvement. We provide a professional service delivering proactive advice, training and support to achieve excellence. The service is delivered by experienced staff dedicated to the success of your school.

What the service offers l Telephone, remote and on-site support for the Arbor, Bromcom MIS and Finance and SIMS along with FMS, operated by MIS experts for fault resolution, service requests, support and advice l Data insights - access to meaningful data to be able to make informed decisions about areas of improvement or to see trends l An annual meeting to discuss the best use of the MIS and how it can meet the strategic needs of your school l The upgrade service delivers installation of all SIMS and FMS upgrades and patches outside school hours, other than in exceptional circumstances l Full training programme is published on the HES portal with bespoke training available on request l Regular user group meetings with software updates l Advice and support for statutory data collections using the MIS e.g. School Census, School Workforce Census, End of Key Stage assessments and Post 16 Learning Aims l Consultancy service for on-site support and training for individuals, groups of staff, staff meetings, inset days, SMT meetings, data health checks, etc l Package of MIS reports (and creation of bespoke reports where required – charges may apply) l Technical support for the SIMS infrastructure and databases l Optional packages are available to purchase, e.g. annual update to pupil premium indicators in SIMS, set up of new academic year and admissions

l Finance Assistant for FMS - Insurance Scheme for Primary Schools l Guidance on the MIS market with support on transitioning across to an alternative MIS if needed (costs may apply) Why choose us l The service is delivered by an experienced team with a firm commitment to customer satisfaction l Team members have in-depth knowledge of schools and their financial management systems l Support covers the full software suites, offering a successful and holistic service l SIMS and FMS upgrades and software patches are installed outside school hours, except in exceptional circumstances l Access to high-quality, SIMS and FMS training courses, workshops as well as Arbor and Bromcom overview sessions held at our dedicated training room or online l Training courses are led by suitably experienced trainers, working with other providers if necessary l Regular consultation with users and clear, impartial advice on MIS software l Telephone helpdesk is operated by experts in SIMS, FMS, Arbor and Bromcom l Critical MIS failures will be responded to swiftly, on-site if necessary l Development, maintenance and support for recording and analysing statutory and ongoing assessment within the MIS l Team members maintain strong links with other departments in the LA and outside agencies. They keep their knowledge up-to- date providing timely, consistent guidance to ensure successful outcomes
