Highlight the importance of staying injury free when doing manual handling tasks
Lead a discussion about the causes of injuries and attributing factors. For example:

lack of warm-up before manual handling activity

time vs effort/conditions/risk
c.
putting the job before oneself
d.
negative habits
e.
previous injuries
f.
physical condition
g.
and how to mitigate these causes and factors
The participants shall:
Engage in answering the questions about how work-related injuries and illnesses can affect them in the short- and long-term
Engage in the discussion about the causes of injuries, contributing factors and what to do to mitigate these. Discussions should also cover the individual’s responsibility and taking the initiative to conduct warm-up prior to work

Establish the skill stations in relevant locations in the training facility
Allow participants to take the lead in demonstrating their relevant knowledge and skills and abilities
Call timeouts when necessary to create learning moments, including drawing focus to safety and quality and demonstrate procedures, techniques and how to use equipment
