Learning objective:
13) The participants can perform pre-use inspection of LSA, PPE, and PFPE (Skills, intermediate level)
14) The participants can take responsibility on their own for donning and using LSA, PPE and PFPE correctly (Ability, intermediate level)
15) The participants can take responsibility to perform an effective buddy check on colleague’s LSA and PPE (Ability, intermediate level)
The participants shall:
Conduct pre-use inspection of LSA, PPE, and PFPE
Don LSA, PPE, and PFPE correctly
Perform an effective buddy check on colleague’s LSA, PPE, and PFPE
ELEMENT 2.3 - SKILL STATION: MOTION-COMPENSATED GANGWAYS (W2W SYSTEMS)
Learning objectives:
16) The participants can describe safe behaviour during approach, crossing, and retreat phases of W2W transfers (Knowledge, intermediate level)
The participants shall:
Describe the purpose and user-facing behaviour of motion-compensated gangways, including typical movements, pauses, and dynamic/static components
Describe the appropriate response to standard W2W signals and alarms (e.g., stop, brace, traffic lights)
Describe safe behaviour during approach, crossing (including telescoping elements), and retreat phases of a W2W transfer
