LESSON 3 - SEA SURVIVAL TRAINING SCENARIOS

45 min.

The aim of this lesson is to allow participants to combine skills practiced from skill stations into an industry relevant emergency scenario. Offshore wind technicians often face extreme conditions, including high winds, rough seas, and remote locations. By practicing cohesive emergency scenarios, technicians can better understand the risks and learn how to mitigate them, reducing the likelihood of accidents and injuries.

After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can:

28) Take responsibility for their own and fellow employees’ safety in emergency situations in an offshore work environment (Ability, intermediate level)

29) Take responsibility to evacuate from a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) (Ability, intermediate level)

30) Take responsibility to evacuate from WTG – Transition Piece (Ability, intermediate level)
