Campground Rules Recreational campers only. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation. All campsites must be occupied by at least one adult age 18 or older. Permit holder is responsible for all individuals on site. All children must have adult supervision. The permit holder is liable for any damages to park or campsite. The City reserves the right to evict anyone, without refund, for violating the rules, destroying or defacing property, creating a disturbance, or non-payment. Any vehicle or RV occupying a site unauthorized, or ordered to be removed from a site, must vacate the site immediately upon notification from the City. If a vehicle or RV must be towed to remove it from a site, all associated costs will be the responsibility of the vehicle or RV owner. The City is not responsible for any damage caused by having to remove that vehicle or RV. Each RV site fee includes up to six persons, one wheeled sleeping unit, and one tent. There is a fee for each additional tent and for every person over six people, regardless of age. Maximum occupancy of an RV/Campsite is twelve persons and only one wheeled sleeping unit per site. The group primitive campsite fee includes up to 15 persons and six sleeping units. Maximum occupancy of an add-on campsite is 12 persons. No more than one wheeled sleeping unit per site. DO NOT trench around tents. DO NOT discharge sewage or gray water on the ground or in the lakes and waterways. DO NOT wash vehicles or RVs in the park. DO NOT hang items from trees. NO use of electrical insect- killing devices. DO NOT install permanent structures in the park. NO horse trailers, tractor trailers, bunk house trailers, etc. DO NOT cover multiple structures with a tarp. No tarp may extend more than 6" beyond the single structure it is covering. NO solicitation or selling any item (including resale of a campsite). NO sleeping overnight in a vehicle not designed for camping (unless special permission is granted by the City). NO rugs or turf areas (exception- small rug at tent entrance). Glass containers are only allowed at campsites. Stand-alone propane tanks are only permissible during the off-peak season. Additional rules apply. Golf carts and motorized scooters may be operated by licensed drivers only. This equipment is allowed on park roads, parking lots and within the RV and camping areas from sunrise to sunset. Absolutely no motorized equipment allowed on trails. Campfires are permitted in fire rings, only. Do not remove fire rings. Gathering of firewood in the park is strictly prohibited; firewood is available at the RV check-in station. Never leave campfires unattended. Do not discard ashes in trash or on grass. Burning trash in the fire ring is strictly prohibited.
Parking along paved roads, on grass, or in an unoccupied site is prohibited. All vehicles parked at a site must be on the gravel or concrete of that site All vehicles parked at a site must have an authorized hang-tag. Additional parking is available on parking lots throughout the park. QUIET HOURS- 11 p.m.-7a.m. (unless otherwise noted) CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Check-in time is 2 p.m. Check out time is noon. RV REQUIREMENTS: A sewer collar must always be used. Skirting on RVs must be professionally fabricated, color-matched, and installed in an aesthetically pleasing way. Plastic sheeting, unfinished plywood, tarps, or other makeshift skirting items are not permissible. Skirting is only permissible in the off-peak season. A three-night minimum stay may be required during specific time periods, special events, and holidays. There is a 60-day maximum stay in the RV sites during the peak season (April-October). There is a two-week maximum stay per calendar year in the primitive campsites. The two weeks cannot be consecutive. There is a one-week maximum stay in any non- wheeled sleeping unit in the park. Additional one-week stays may be added up to the maximum allowed for that site type, but each stay must be separated by a minimum of 7-days out of the park. HOW LONG CAN I STAY? Please dispose of trash in the dumpster by the main road. No littering. All sites must be kept tidy. Customers who cannot keep their site aesthetically pleasing may be asked to vacate the park. TRASH
