370 Lakeside PTIWiFi Troubleshooting Tips IF PTIWiFi is not showing up in your networks or has poor signal strength, please try the following: 1. Ensure that your WiFi settings on your device are enabled. 2. Ensure there are as few obstructions between you and an access point as possible (see map below). Solar shades, window foil, or other items may obstruct your signal. 3. Try moving your device near a window facing an access point. RVs with metal sides may obstruct signal to the interior of the RV. Moving your device near a window allows for a better line of sight to your device from the access point. This will result in a stronger signal.

The PTIWiFi access points are located on the bathhouse between Pod 1 and 2, and between Pod 4 and Primitive Camping.

If you are connected to the PTIWiFi and signal strength is good but you have you no Internet, please try the following:

1.Users must accept the usage agreement as shown every time they connect to PTIWiFi. If you are not automatically presented with the usage agreement upon attempting to connect to

PTIWiFi, try opening an Internet browser. This should present you with the usage agreement (Apple IOS may not be presented with an agreement). 2.Disconnect from the PTIWiFi in your network settings, then attempt to reconnect. 3.Turn the device’s WiFi off and back on, then attempt to reconnect. 4.Go to WiFi settings and select “Forget This Network”, then attempt to reconnect. 5.Reboot the device, then attempt to reconnect. PTIWiFi Limitations PTIWiFi is a free Internet service offered to the City of St Peters for the citizens/customers. Because of this, it does have limitations: 1.PTIWiFi is not intended for streaming video through platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Netflix, etc., and may not support such activity. 2.If you are connected to PTIWiFi for four hours you will have to re-accept the usage agreement. 3.Media intensive pages such as www.msn.com that contain large quantities of videos on a page may take much longer than usual to load all of the content.
