FORWARD 2021 Maryland Judiciary Statistical Abstract Each year, the Maryland Judiciary presents its annual fiscal year statistical abstract. The data and statistics collected for the abstract include all four levels of court, including the Court of Appeals of Maryland, Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, the District Court of Maryland, and the state’s circuit courts. The 2021 Statistical Abstract comprises trial and appellate court caseload data, providing information and insight regarding the volume, type, and disposition of cases handled by Maryland courts. The statistical abstract helps to ensure transparency by providing data and public information in a consistent annual format.
