We are here to provide you with exceptional experiences, services and amenities at our locations and we want you to make endless memories with your friends and loved ones.

Here at Venture Out Resorts, we are committed to providing fun and unique outdoor experiences for families to create memories that will last a lifetime. We expect everyone to conduct themselves in a way that helps us deliver an experience consistent with our purpose: To strengthen family bonds supporting the development of firm family foundations. We have adopted these rules and policies to provide explanation of expectations so that everyone has maximum enjoyment while simultaneously protecting the health, safety and privacy of all campers and staff. We ask everyone to respect other people and their property. Reservation privileges and/or Resort usage may be suspended and/or terminated for unlawful action or inappropriate conduct that occurs while staying at one of our Resorts or affiliated Resorts. Breach of conduct or any of Venture Out Resorts’ policy outlined in this handbook or the seasonal lease could result in disciplinary action. Venture Out Resorts will consider the totality of each instance when determining the appropriate level of policy enforcement. Campers assume all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically, but not exclusively, the danger of being injured by insects or animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming or boating at the Resorts, or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.

Camp Site Usage ●

Campsite check-in: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.

● Campsite check-out: Noon (12 p.m.) on the last day of the reservation (5 p.m. exception for Monday, April 8th) . ● There is a maximum of ten (10) people allowed per campsite/reservation regardless of age. More than ten (10) persons will require additional reservations for overnight usage. ● Two (2) vehicles are allowed on each site. ● Venture Out Resorts reserves the right to move a site reservation to another site for operational purposes when necessary. Cancellation Policy ● If a guest reservation is changed or canceled more than 30 days prior to arrival date, the Guest will not incur a fee. ● If a reservation is changed or canceled between 14-30 days prior to arrival date, the Guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation. ● If a reservation is changed or canceled between 7-13 days prior to arrival date, the Guest will be refunded 25% of the reservation. ● If a reservation is changed, canceled or the reservation holder no-shows within 6 days prior to arrival date, the Guest will not be refunded for the reservation. Upon entering the Resort, you must stop at Security and present a photo ID. You will receive a tag to hang in your rearview mirror with details of your overnight stay. ● Vehicle permits will be required for all vehicles entering the Resort. Campers will receive one (1) free vehicle permit upon arrival to the resort. Additional vehicle permits will be available to purchase. Daily permits are $5 per day. ● Vehicle usage may be restricted in the Resort, at times, due to certain activities and/or events throughout the Resort. This will ensure the safety of children and others. Prior notification of these events will be provided. ● All vehicles must be operated by a valid driver’s license. Underage vehicle use is strictly prohibited. ● The speed limit at all Resorts is 5 mph. All stop signs and other signs must be observed. Please follow all traffic guidelines. ● Parking is available at each campsite, Fixed Lodging, General Store and Clubhouse. Please contact Security if you need assistance. Parking in the street or on the grass is prohibited. Vehicle Permits ●

RV Parking ●

All tongues of travel trailers, fifth wheels, pop-ups and fronts of motor homes must face the roadway. On pull-through sites, the camper must be situated so that the hookups are at the rear. ● RV must be parked on designated paved or gravel areas.

Utility Trailer & Boat Parking ●

Not available for this event

Conduct ●

Campers are responsible for the actions and conduct of their Family Members, children and guests while staying on resort. Any destruction to Company property could result in the cancellation of reservation or additional fines. ● Please do not leave garbage out overnight so that animals do not create a mess. ● Children under the age of eighteen (18) must be back to their site by 10 p.m. unless accompanied by guardian/parent. ● Children under the age of eight (8) must be accompanied by an adult on the putt-putt course, shuffleboard, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pit, game room, etc. ● Minors may not be left in the Resort overnight, for day use, or for any period of time without supervision by the parent. ● Individuals identified as having been convicted of a sexual offense and/or are registered sex offenders not permitted use of the property. This policy includes Family & Guest use. ● Guests are not permitted to engage in activities that interfere with the operation of the Resort, including without limitation, membership sales. Quiet time is from 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. Guests are requested to leave by 10 p.m. However, all Guests are requested to be considerate of those around them at all times. ● Everyone must be conscious of others in the use of lights, playing music, etc. Resort Managers have the discretion to enforce noise and disturbance at all times to promote the enjoyment of all during their stay. Guests experiencing a disturbance are encouraged to notify Security or Resort Management. ● Approved hours of golf cart* operation are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Outside of that time frame, golf carts may only be used for accessibility purposes. *Please Note : Golf carts are prohibited for public guests.

Quiet Hours ●

Security ●

We have on- and off-site staff available to handle security and urgent situations. These individuals have the full authority of management to require anyone not following policies to leave the property.

● If you have an emergency or urgent medical situation, please dial 9-1-1 immediately. ● During normal business hours, please alert on-site security or any Resort staff of an issue. The security hotline is only for emergencies that happen after normal business hours: (810) 658-3388 ext. 2. ● For any incidents that occur while on our properties, you must contact Security to file an incident report. ● Venture Out Resorts reserves the right to employ video recording systems to ensure resort security. ● Shoplifting and stealing is against the law and will result in police action and immediate removal from the property. Minor children under the age of twenty-one (21) are not allowed to consume alcohol under any circumstance. Any alcohol-related disturbance or incident will be treated as a serious offense. ● Venture Out Resorts reserves the right to prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages at any function or activity and restrict the use on the Resort, as deemed appropriate by management. ● Open or exposed alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in the general store, pool areas, any enclosed building, or office area where it could become a nuisance to others. ● Driving with an open alcoholic container, and/or under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited on resort properties. No tobacco use (smoking, vaping, chewing tobacco) in any public areas of the resort. This includes but is not limited to the comfort stations, laundry and shower rooms, pool area, office area, pavilions and Fixed Lodging. Tobacco use under the age of twenty-one (21) is prohibited. Drugs ● Venture Out Resorts maintains a family-friendly environment in our resorts. The use of illegal drugs is prohibited at our resorts. ● Venture Out Resorts complies with all local and state laws with regards to marijuana use. Accordingly, any use of cannabis must take place in private, such as the user’s own RV. It is illegal to carry cannabis in areas frequented by children. Smoking is strictly prohibited in Fixed Lodging units. Alcohol ● Tobacco ●

Fireworks ●

No fireworks that leave the ground or boom are allowed.

Firearms ●

The possession of firearms or other weapons in the park is prohibited except for hunting weapons which must be cased, locked, unloaded, and stored in your unit while on the Resort properties. ● Campers are not permitted to open carry or concealed carry. Tents ● Each site can have one (1) camper and two (2) sleeping tents on it. Without a camper, a site can have up to three (3) sleeping tents on it. ● Venture Out Resorts reserves the right to designate tent sections in the Resort in the future. Guests are not allowed to solicit, make known or actively market any sellable item on Resort properties.Selling of any merchandise from individual campsites and rental accommodations is prohibited. During designated craft show events, the sale of such items may be permitted in designated areas only. ● Deliveries are generally not permitted within the Resort premises. Any delivery must be met at the Guard Shack, as outside parties will not be allowed in the Resort without prior consent. Selling Items in the Resort ●

Washing of Vehicles ●

Washing of any vehicles and RVs are not allowed on Resort property.

Waste Disposal ●

All Guests on sewer sites must have a 90 degree sewer connector attached to the hose which connects to our sewer drop. Guests will be responsible for ensuring that the connection is sealed. If you do not have the proper materials to make the connection, you will have to disconnect. ● We may provide pump out services. This service can be reserved and paid for at the Store. Any pump out request made after 12 p.m. noon will be done the next day. The outside caps to the valves of your gray and black water tanks must be removed before they will be pumped out. ● Contents of a blue tote are to be emptied at the designated area at the dump station. Venture Out Resorts does not pump out blue totes. ● You will be responsible for any spillage at the dump station. ● Campers are responsible for their garbage. Please bag and tie all garbage and place in the designated dumpsters placed throughout the Resort properties.

Air Conditioners, Electric Heaters & Generator Use ● Members are not to leave the Resort with any air conditioner or electric heater running and unattended due to safety and utilities conservation, regardless of the reason or season. ● Generators may only be used in the event of a power outage within the Resort. In such situations, they may be operated during quiet hours (11 p.m. – 8 a.m.). Once power has been restored, generators must be turned off. ● Propane tanks in excess of 100 lbs may not be stored on campsites and must be secured at all times.

Mail & Postal Service ●

Mail and/or package delivery service is generally not accepted at our Resorts. You are encouraged to locate the local delivery service near the resort for any packages or mail you are in need of.

Bathhouses ● Bathhouses are not to be used to clean pets or recreational equipment; they are for you personal use and hygiene only.

Laundry Facilities ●

Washer and dryers available. No hanging of clotheslines at Resorts.

Attachments ●

No nails or screws are to be put into trees. ● Clotheslines are not allowed. ● Hammocks are allowed, as long as they do not damage trees. No screws are allowed to hang hammocks. Motorized Vehicles ● Speed limit for all motorized vehicles is 5 mph and is strictly enforced for the safety of all campers. ● Non-licensed or licensed electric or gas scooters/mopeds, golf carts, or motorized bikes are not allowed in the resort. ● Scooters and motorcycles must be licensed. ● All motorized vehicles are to be driven on park roads only, unless the area is designated otherwise. They are not to be driven through campsites, on nature trails, sidewalks or lawns. ● Continuously blaring horns, impeding regular traffic, playing exceedingly loud and inappropriate music, driving over 5 mph, or allowing anyone without a valid driver’s license to drive is prohibited.

Electric Vehicles ● The charging of electric vehicles is generally permissible at Venture Out Resorts' locations. ● Guests must obtain Resort Manager approval prior to charging and must have a reservation on a 50 amp site to do so. ● Permission may be denied in the event of high occupancy or heavy electrical usage in the resort. ● Campers are required to pay a $20 per day convenience fee at the Store for days approved. ● If a Camper does not obtain prior approval for charging and/or pre-pay for the services, a $100 fine will be assessed.

Motorcycles, ATVs & UTVs ●

No ATVs (i.e. 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, etc.) are to be ridden in the park unless approved for disability use. ATVs must be trailered to and from the trails. ● UTVs/side-by-sides use is not allowed on Resort property.

Skateboards, Scooters, Bicycles & Hoverboards ● No bikes, roller blades, skateboards, scooters, or hoverboards on any sidewalks, building ramps, or under pavilions. ● Anyone under eighteen (18) years old on a bike, roller blades, skateboard, scooter or hoverboard must be at campsite/Fixed Lodging by dark. ● No roller blades, skateboards or riding bikes after dusk. Owners of Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Stafford Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Great Dane, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Husky, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Wolf Hybrid and any dog that is a mixture of these breeds will be allowed providing owner carries a $300,000 liability insurance policy. Proof of liability insurance may be provided in advance to wecare@ventureoutresorts.com. Any dog with a history of biting will not be accepted. ● Owners must clean up after their pets. ● Pets ● Pets must always be on a leash. Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6’ and controlled by someone physically able to do so. Pets may be off leash if they are in a contained space. ● Pets are not allowed in restrooms, pools, pavilion or beach areas. ● Do not leave pets unattended.

● Excessively noisy pets may result in removal from the facility. Pets exhibiting disruptive behavior may have restrictions placed on them, potentially up to being removed from the Resort. ● When pets are tied up on a campsite, they must be tied short enough so they can’t enter neighboring campsites or the roadway. Animals are not to be tied to trees, picnic tables or building posts. ● You are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by pets owned by, in the control of, or brought to the Resort by yourself, your family, or your Guests. In the event your pet causes injury or damages to another, you are expected to resolve the damages directly with the injured party. We are not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by pets. Campfires & Fire Wood ● Campfires are restricted to the fire rings only and must always be attended. ● Campfire rings are not to be moved. ● Only firewood is to be burned in fire rings. No treated lumber, building materials or trash are to be burned. ● No trees are to be cut down for firewood. ● Chainsaws and other tools used for cutting wood are NOT permitted to be used in our resorts. You may bring your own firewood or purchase it at the Resort. ● Firewood is available for purchase at the store.

WiFi ● We offer free WiFi at Arrowhead Lakes Resort. There are no guarantees either

expressed or implied as to the reliability, availability or security of the network. From time to time, there may be system outages due to upgrades, equipment issues or problems beyond our control. We do not supply technical support in connecting to the network. ● By using Venture Out Resorts WiFi, you agree that you will not use it for illegal purposes. ● Some resorts offer the ability to purchase a higher bandwidth. We ask that you consider these options if you plan to stream any content during your stay.

Drones ●

The operation of personal drones are generally permitted within the resorts. Operators are required to notify the Resort Manager of intended use before operation and always refer to FAA guidelines ahead of time. Privacy of other Guests must be respected at all times.

Hunting ●

NO hunting is allowed on Resort property.

● Hunting weapons shall be unloaded, cased, and stored in accordance with our firearms policy while on Resort property. ● No field dressing animals on Resort property.

Property ● Personal property should be secured at all times. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or items left behind or damages to personal property. ● If any damage is done to your personal property, you must file an incident report at the Store or Security. Parties & Group Events ● Lease agreements permit a maximum of ten (10) people to be on the properties at any given time. ● We don’t reserve spaces for private parties. Venture Out Resorts may occasionally experience outages including water, electric, cable, wireless internet and any other utilities that may apply. We may have to shut down the Resorts or other amenities for reasons beyond our control. No reservation or maintenance fee refunds or compensation will be given for any outages or any reasons beyond our control. ● No refunds will be given due to weather (wind, hail, rain, etc.) Please be courteous to your neighbors and our staff. Venture Out Resorts reserve the right to maintain a comfortable atmosphere in the Resorts and has the right to eject without prior notice anyone who, in our judgment, creates a disturbance or nuisance, or deliberately breaks the rules. ● Campers will be liable for any and all damages caused to property of the Resort. Refunds ● Courtesy ●

Photography ●

Commercial photography and videography is often conducted by Venture Out Resorts. You may appear in pictures or video that may be used in advertising, news reporting, or other activities regarding the resorts. Reservations at the Resort or a day use pass constitutes your consent for Venture Out Resorts to use any pictures or video it deems appropriate without payment, inspection or review.
