Welcome to the 2025 version of our annual production sale. Seems like it comes around faster every year. 2025 represents our 61st year in the Angus seedstock. We take our role seriously as seedstock producers and strive to produce cattle that will be profitable, problem- free, predictable and positively impact your operations. We are truly thankful and humbled by your continued support of our program over the years and look forward to continuing to be a reliable seedstock source for your operations for many years to come. We have stayed focused and on the same path for 61 years breeding Angus cattle and have continually bred cattle with the cow/calf producer in mind. We believe an efficient, highly
maternal, fertile, low maintenance cow herd is key to a profitable operation. We have designed a breeding program that is built on stacking generations of proven, time-tested, fertile, productive cows to achieve this type of cowherd. We are proud of the cowherd we have developed here and strive for perfection but understand genetics and mother nature will not allow perfection, however by striving for perfection we are constantly improving our cowherd for the benefit of our customers. We are proud of this year’s offering. It represents our vision and goals of our program very well. We believe it will be one of the most unique offerings you will have the opportunity to evaluate. Not only is it produced by a cow herd recognized around the world for maternal quality, but it is the result of a breeding program with an unwavering focus. We are very pleased with the consistency of quality from the start of the offering to the end. Like last year, we will be providing two options for bidding, viewing, and evaluating the offering. Both DV Auction and Superior Productions will have the videos available for viewing on their websites and will be here on sale day to provide internet bidding. Videos will be available a week or two ahead of the sale. As always, all the information is provided in the catalog. We will have scrotal measurements available on sale day or by request prior to the sale. The cattle will sell in catalog order. We stand behind the bulls and heifers 100%. Rolette ND has a 3,500 foot paved runway. Minot, ND is served by Northwest Airlines. Minot is 90 miles from the ranch. Sale Terms & Conditions All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Terms of the sale are cash. Volume Discounts: We will discount your purchase price 3% on 3 head purchased by one buyer and up to 10% on 10 head purchased by one buyer. Delivery: We offer free delivery in North Dakota and adjoining states on all bulls and free delivery up to 1,000 miles on purchases totalling $2,500 Beyond 1,000 miles delivery will be billed at cost. Sight Unseen Purchase Program: If you cannot attend the sale and would like to purchase bulls, please give us a call and we’ll be glad to help you with your order. Describe the type of bull, minimum and maximum parameters and price range. We want to assure you that your bid will be handled with the utmost professionalism and your money handled like it is our own. We guarantee 100% satisfaction on all orders. If you get the bull and don’t like him, we will take him back. Lodging & Transportation Herd Health: Bulls have been vaccinated with Vista Once SQ, 7-Way w/Somnus, poured with Ivermectin, and feed Safeguard. The bulls will have passed a complete fertility test. All cattle will sell with interstate health papers. Nutrition: The bulls were fed a high roughage ration. The ration was balanced to ensure the bull’s soundness and longevity. We reached a maximum of 46 Mega Cals, and the protein level was 13.2 percent. The bulls are hard, sound footed, and have not been pushed at all. The ration consisted of Alfalfa, Corn Silage, rolled corn and mineral package. For those that do not know what earlage is, it consists of the grain, cob, and husk, thus adding additional fiber to the ration. The bulls were raised on momma’s milk and grass from birth to weaning and have performed well this winter. Semen Interest You will notice that we are retaining an interest in quite a few of the bulls. These are bulls we may want to collect semen from in the future for use within our herd. If we are able to sell semen from your bull, we would share with you any revenue generated from the sale of semen. The bulls would be collected when it was convenient for you. The buyer has full possession and salvage value of the bull. Many of these bulls will undoubtedly sell in the price range of the commercial man.
