Q The ‘Big Shift’ took place as a whole College event, with all boys kicking off the week by making a pledge to be more sustainable and active in their travel to and from school. The Metropolitan Police allowed boys to take a seat in an HGV cab to help them appreciate the difficulties lorry drivers can face when pedestrians and cyclists are nearby. In addition, Jem Stein, from the Bike Project Charity, gave an assembly on the work the charity does to recycle bikes for UK refugees and asylum seekers. At lunchtime the Year 6 boys had access to the Rollapaluza static bike-racing event where the boys could race against each other over 250 meters - it is important to note that Dr Griffiths was comfortably beaten by two of the Year 6s!
