Nominations Sought for TAPPI’s Woman Of The Year Award The Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Indus- try (TAPPI) is accepting nominations for the Woman of the Year Award. The Women in Industry Division’s Woman of the Year award recognizes women who have demonstrat- ed excellence in leading, motivating, and developing oth- ers within the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging and support- ing industries. They have had an impact on those around them and have motivated and developed others. Nominees should have demonstrated the following: Leadership: Has demonstrated excellent leadership skills within their company, community and/or volunteer activities. Leading by example. Impact: Has had a visible and/or tangible impact on fellow employees, whether subordinates or others within their company, through actions or activities. Developing Others: Has been dedicated to mentoring within or outside of her company, provided support for rising professionals, and been actively engaged in career coaching. Presence: Possesses visibility within their organization or field, demonstrates high integrity in actions and words, and portrays an image of strength and confidence that in- spires. Diversity, Inclusion, Equity: Nominee actively fosters a diverse and inclusive environment in all that they do. To qualify, nominees must be employed in the pulp, pa- per, board, tissue or supporting industries. While encour- aged, nominees do not have to be TAPPI members. The Woman of the Year is selected by the Women in Industry Executive Council and the Women in Industry Celebrating Women Leaders Subcommittee. The awardee will be named in late winter of the following year with the award presented in the spring at TAPPICon . Container Graphics Appoints New COO, CFO, VP Of Digital Accounts Cary, North Carolina based Container Graphics Corpora- tion (CGC) has announced the promotion of Graham Saun- ders to President and Chief Operating Officer. Saunders joined the company in 2013 in the role of Business De- velopment Manager. He later led the company’s national accounts division and most recently held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Christine Zeger has been appointed to the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Zeger has been CGC’s Controller since joining the company in 2014.
