Junior Alleynian 2020

n Catherine Radford We wish Catherine a very fond farewell after five wonderful years in the Junior School. Shewas verymuch the epitome of the calm, caring and professional teacher, and she could always be relied on to do everything to the very best of her ability. Catherine has worked closely with a number of colleagues in her joint form teacher role, and her diligence and ability to understand the boys has meant that she has always taken everything in her stride. She will be remembered for many things, but her infamous trip to Wales, where illness struck down most of her form, will stand out! If anything typified her ability to cope under pressure, it was that extraordinary week. She will be missed immensely by us all but leaves to join Hazelwood School in Oxted where she is relocating to with her family.

n Lauren Maskell Lauren Maskell joined us in January 2020 in her role as maternity cover, and over the past two terms has taken everything in her stride. She immediately demonstrated her passion for Maths and taught this subject across Year 5 and 6, showing a real commitment to the boys and their learning. Lauren could always be relied upon as a teacher and as a colleague. She was very thoughtful and caring to all the boys, and we know she will take these qualities forward into her new role at Notting Hill and Ealing High School where we wish her all the very best.
