January 2026 E-Newsletter

Wellness Corner Happy New Year! Looking for an alternative to the traditional New Year’s Resolutions? Try one of these instead: • Word for the Year: Pick a single word (e.g., “Grace,” “Focus”, “Consistency”) to use as a guiding motivation or principle for the year. • One New Habit: Choose one small habit to incorporate throughout the year that will make a positive impact in your daily life. Does not have to be grand. • Fun Plan: Schedule 6 mini adventures throughout the year – small day trips or local events that are outside the normal routine that will bring joy and fun. • Joy Practice: Notice one thing each day that brought you joy or something you did for someone that made them smile and/or feel appreciated. No matter which option is chosen, keep in mind we don’t have to be perfect every day for it to make an impact, consistency and progress is the key! January Mindfulness Challenge: Interested in getting the year started with a focus on building a mindfulness practice? Sign up for our January 10 Day Challenge. Starting January 21 an email will be sent out each morning with a small mini-challenge for the day. If you are interested in participating, email “Sign Me Up” to ANCCwellness@outlook.com and you will be added to the email list.
