HOW LIE ANGLE A FFECTS A GOLF SHOT BY JIMMY KOWALSKI Jimmy Kowalski, PGA, explains why the lie angle of a golf club is important. If it is too upright the face will point left at impact. If it is too flat the face will point right at impact. Click on the image to the right to view the video and see a demonstration of how our resident PGA club master adjusts the lie angle using his trusty Maltby Machine.
