Centennial Park Pool
Harold Avenue Regional Park Recreation Center
As the year closed out at Centennial Park Pool, the water buzzed with end- of-year energy and community spirit. A total of 193 lap swimmers powered through their final lengths of the year, while 121 recreation swimmers filled the pool with laughter and easygoing fun. Nearby, 33 water aerobics patrons moved in sync, turning fitness into a celebration. The lanes also welcomed a spirited mix of teams: 18 Blue Machine swimmers visiting from Canada, 29 dedicated Sea Dragon Aquatics athletes, and 12 Sea Dragon high school swimmers, all adding to the international and local flair. Together, every splash felt like a countdown— one last dive into the year, shared by a vibrant swimming community ready to welcome what comes next. The Rec Center stayed busy this week, with 91 Pickleball players keeping the courts lively and 47 Stride and Stretch participants stretching, stepping, and showing that good balance comes with good attendance. Trivia Tuesday also brought in 3 participants, proving that big brains sometimes come in small but mighty groups. We hope everyone had a happy holiday season. As we head into New Year’s Eve tonight, we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable celebration and look forward to kicking off the new year together at the Rec Center. Tringali Park Recreation Center
