Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a joyous and safe holiday season. Based on the reduced numbers in the Resort, it was clear that many of our residents headed elsewhere to spend time with friends and family. The next three months are going to be very busy at the Resort as we welcome back our holiday travelers, as well as those who are just joining us for the season. I encourage everyone to settle in, check out all the upcoming activities, and enjoy your time at ORPS for the remainder of the winter season. I am sure that most of the owners are aware that we have an election coming up in March, and three directors will be appointed to fill open positions. I want to encourage each of you to consider running for the Board and contributing your time, energy, and skills to make ORPS the best it can be. January 9 th is the last day to declare your candidacy. Please contact the main office if your need the form and feel free to reach out to any Board member if you have any questions related to how the Board functions. Last month, I mentioned our volunteers and I feel compelled to do the same this month. Without these dedicated individuals ORPS would not be able to have all the outstanding activities and events available to us. Over the next few months, we will start recruiting individuals to fill positions that expire in March on almost every committee. You will see emails announcing openings and I encourage you to submit an interest form if you see an area where you would like to contribute at the committee level.
