If you request us to keep the bulls longer than 15 days, delivery arrangements will be made on an individual basis to accom- modate our time schedule. Registration Certificates: Certificates will be provided to buyers upon request on sale day. Feeding Arrangements: Bulls can be fed for $2.50/day if left at the ranch longer than 10 days following the sale. Liability for death or injury of the bull will remain with the buyer during the feeding period.
All bulls selling for $3,000 or more will be covered 50% by Hoyt Angus Ranch if they have an untreatable injury that would keep the bull from being a breeder for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. If a problem occurs, 50% of the value of the injured bull, minus any salvage value, will go towards a replacement bull if one is available or will be given as credit in a future sale. Injury resulting in death of the bull will not be the responsibility of Hoyt Angus Ranch. This is an insurable risk that the purchaser can obtain coverage for through various livestock insurers. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage.
