Conduct Eviction

SLJD Housing strives to provide a positive experience for all colleagues living on building. To ensure that the housing community remains a safe and comfortable living environment, it is important that you follow the expectations and regulations as outlined in this Housing Handbook and your Housing Contract. A resident will be subject to conduct eviction if: a) the continued presence of the resident constitutes a physical danger/threat to another colleague, or themselves b) the resident has withdrawn from work at SLJD or has been suspended from the SLJD. c) the resident is found to have seriously or continuously breached the Community Standards, as outlined in this Housing Handbook. All conduct evictions include the following disciplinary action: a) The colleague is required to vacate Housing property on twenty- four hours’ notice. b) The colleague is prohibited from being on Housing property after eviction is complete. c) The colleague is not able to re-apply to Housing for future terms.

Parcel Arrival Information

If you are alerted by your postal delivery service that a parcel has arrived, please note that it has only arrived at the SLJD HR mail, and not necessarily to the Housing Services Office. Please informed Housing Services to receive and process incoming mail. When a parcel or package arrives for you, an email will be sent to the address listed on your Housing portal account to notify you that you can now pick up your parcel at the Housing office during office hours.

Using a TV Lounge/Common Room

Colleagues are required to keep the volume at a moderate level in order not to disturb neighbors and other colleagues. Each room has a hook-up for basic cable, available for residents to use for the duration of their stay. Parking Pass Parking is available outside the building. Visitors not allowed to use the Parking and Transportation Services. for information on where to park on building ask the security. Please note that parking spaces are limited, so be sure to apply early! Bike Storage If you want to bring a bike, we have indoor bike storage! To access our bike storage, please register your bike at the Housing Office. Bicycles must be always locked while in storage locked, and the housing officer is not responsible for any stolen or damaged bicycles.
