Colleague Hand Book

Should you fail to meet the cleanliness standards at the time of the inspection, a written cleaning report itemizing the areas to be cleaned will be issued, along with the date for re-inspection. Should cleanliness fail to meet standards upon re-inspection, housekeeping staff will clean the failed area(s) and a cleaning service fee will be applied to the account of the resident who was assigned the area on the posted cleaning schedule.

If a cleaning schedule has not been completed for the apartment or suite, the cleaning fee will be divided amongst all occupants of the suite.

Cleaning Service

For a fee of SR100.00, Housing Services Housekeeping Staff will clean your assigned area for you! This service will be provided up to a maximum time of one hour during the week.

If you are interested in utilizing this service, simply contact to Housing team. Note: Payments for this service must be made in advance to the Office

Other

Should you have any constructive suggestions on how we can improve the living conditions in the colleagues’ apartments or buildings, you are encouraged to place your written suggestions in the suggestion box situated in the Colleagues Accommodation Manager’s Office.

Transportation

Fully air-conditioned buses will be provided for colleagues to travel to/from work/hotel.

Bus services will be periodically provided to the accommodation in Jeddah City and to Shangri-la Jeddah hotel.

- The transport schedule is posted on the colleagues notice boards of the hotel and on the colleagues’ accommodation notice boards. - Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle. - Colleagues should not stand in the vehicle whilst it is in motion. - Nothing is to be thrown out of the windows of the vehicle. - All doors and windows must be closed whilst the air conditioning is in operation. - Visitors are not allowed to ride in the bus.
