2.1.3 Must attempt to prevent problems which would result in disciplinary action by

relying on sound principles of managing people and administration.

2.1.4 In cases of deviation/infringement of any of the Hotel rules and regulations by

any subordinates, they shall investigate the matter and observe due process of

the law in accordance with the provisions and guidelines set in this Guide.

2.1.5 Prepare the required reports on cases investigated and/or corrective actions

meted out for submission to their SM/SSM/SE.

2.1.6 Recommend the necessary action to be taken by Management.

Note: In Departments where there is not a Service Leader, this becomes the

responsibility of the Service Manager.

2.2

Service Managers (SM)

2.2.1 Ensure that all their Service Leaders are fully aware of their responsibilities in

maintaining discipline and understand all relevant rules and regulations.

2.2.2 Review and approve corrective actions recommended by Service Leaders to

ensure objectivity and fairness in consultation with the Senior Service

Manager/Service Executive and the Human Resources Department prior to

implementation.
