modern, and four of its eight pages are in two colors. There is fiction in every issue, of course, but generous space is devoted to real-life stories dealing with what individuals and organizations are doing in Christian work today. Published by Scripture Press, Chicago, 111. Price 18 cents per copy per quarter in groups of five or more. Salvation Songs for Children Number Two Compiled by Ruth P. Overholtzer This well-balanced compilation of songs for children duplicates no song found in Salvation Songs for Children Number One. There are choruses to be accompanied by motions, and there are hymns of praise conducive to wor ship. The book is especially com mended for its fine exaltation of the Bible as God’s Word. All the songs are youthful in expression. 105 pages. In ternational Child Evangelism Fellow ship, Inc. Room 812, 203 N. Wabash Ave., Chicago, 111. Paper. Price 35 cents each, $30.00 per 100. ABOUT SOLDIERS [Continued from Page 172] prevailing in the period in which it was written. After concluding the quotation, the student asked, “What have you to say about what D r.---------says about the Bible?” I replied by saying, “ I am less con cerned with what the Doctor says about the Bible than I am concerned with what the Bible says about this famous scientist.” The Bible is no respecter of persons. The Bible has a message for the high and for the lowly, for the distin guished and for the unrenowned. The Bible says that man is born in sin, that he is lost without Christ, that he must be born again. Fifty years from now it will make no difference what this famous scientist said about the Bible. But for all eternity, heaven will be different, and hell will be different, according as this man is made to hear and to heed the truth of God. It is not important that we know what -the enemies of Christianity say about the Bible; it is supremely important that we make the Bible known to them— to all men. During the past several years, many of our most widely circulating maga zines have published lengthy exposes of the antireligious views and policies of Hitler. It is quite likely that for every one person who knows what the Bible says about Hitler, there are ten or a hundred who know what Hitler says about the Bible. Our people generally know what Hitler plans to do to the church and to the Bible if, and when, he conquers the1world. But how many of our people know what Christ has promised to do with, the anti-God dictators when He takes charge of this God-forsaking world"
