West head coach for 2026 … Head coach at Eastern Guilford for 14 seasons … 203-160 career record with four conference championships, three conference tournament titles and 11 state playoff appearances … Guided the Wildcats to the 2017 NCHSAA 3A State Championship game and the 2018 Final Four … Also coached the school’s boys and girls tennis teams, earning Conference Coach of the Year honors while leading Eastern Guilford to its first dual-team state playoff appearances … Played in the 1990 NC East-West All-Star Game as a standout at Asheboro High School before earning a degree in Sports Management from Campbell University … Also coached professionally in Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands before returning to North Carolina … Calls coaching in the All-Star Game after once playing in it a full-circle moment and a tremendous honor. Hoggard High School and Barber-Scotia College, where he earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology … Says he is “extremely blessed and honored” to coach in the East-West All-Star Game and will cherish the experience forever.
