Steven BARBOUR East head coach for 2026 … Head coach of both the boys and girls soccer programs at Terry Sanford … Guided the girls to a 50-39- 3 record in four seasons with three consecutive state playoff appearances and conference championships in 2023 and 2024 … Also built the boys program into one of the state’s strongest, posting a 98-37-4 record with multiple conference titles and deep playoff runs … Named Girls All-American Conference Coach of the Year and Cumberland County Teacher of the Year … Graduate of South View High School and American University before earning a master’s degree from UNC Pembroke … Looks forward to coaching some of North Carolina’s finest players and representing the East with pride.
Camden BROOKS West head coach for 2026 … Head coach of both the boys and girls soccer programs at Western Alamance … Guided the girls to a 76-11-5 record in four seasons, including the 2025 NCHSAA 3A State Championship and a regional runner-up finish in 2024 … Overall record of 164- 30-13 between the boys and girls programs, including four state championships … Three-time Conference Coach of the Year, three-time Regional Coach of the Year, 2021 NFHS Coach of the Year and 2025 HighSchoolOT Men’s, Women’s and Overall Coach of the Year … Also coached the South team to the BODYARMOR State Games championship … Graduate of Western Alamance High School and Greensboro College … Says he is honored to coach in the East-West All-Star Game and is excited to work with the best soccer talent North Carolina has to offer.
