Vanda manoeuvred the submarine through the narrow passages of the ruins. They came across a grand palace, its gates sealed with a puzzle lock that required aligning rotating rings to form a complete image of a trident. Working together, Vanda and Pip solved the puzzle, and the gates slowly opened, revealing a cavernous hall inside. At the far end, on a pedestal, lay the Trident of Tides, its prongs tipped with glowing blue crystals. As Vanda approached the trident, the room began to fill with water. It was a trap! He raced against the rising tide, reaching for the trident. Grasping it, he felt a surge of power as the trident glowed brighter, and the water around him began to swirl. Using the trident, Vanda commanded the water, parting it around him and Pip, creating a bubble of air as they made their escape. The water obeyed, its pixels swirling and flowing at his command. Once safely back in the submarine, Vanda looked at the trident with awe. "This will help us on our journey," he said, a mix of excitement and nervousness in his voice. Pip nodded, her eyes wide with admiration for the artifact's power. As they ascended to the surface, the ocean seemed less a barrier and more a gateway, its depths holding not just secrets, but also tools to aid in their quest. With the Trident of Tides safely stored, Vanda set his sights on the next adventure, feeling more connected to this digital world and its mysteries.
