llentown, PA — On July 15th 2014, about 50 members
and friends of CREWLehigh Valley were treated to a su- perb lunch at the new Ham- ilton Kitchen & Bar located at 645 West Hamilton Street followed by a guided tour of Two City Center located in downtown Allentown, Pa. Two City Center is part of an overall resurgence in economic development hap- pening in Allentown, Penn- sylvania’s third largest city. Two City Center is lo- cated across from the soon- to-be-open PPL Center, a multipurpose hockey and entertainment venue where the Lehigh Valley Phan- toms, professional minor- league hockey team of the Philadelphia Flyers, will play. The 11-story, Class-A office building is home to the developer of the project, City Center Lehigh Valley, and also Lehigh Gas, Air Products, RLB Accounting, Buckno Lisicky, Cenduit, Duggan & Marcon, Dorothy Rider Pool Healthcare Trust, Baker Engineering and the Hamilton Kitchen & Bar. Allentown is enjoying a return to prominence thanks to a valuable piece of legis- lation introduced by State Senator Pat Browne in 2009, the Neighborhood Improve- ment Zone (NIZ). The NIZ is designed to revitalize the city’s downtown 130-acre core as well as the Lehigh River waterfront, creating a more dynamic, healthy and
