Bengal Tiger in Rathambore National Park
10 day tour India Golden Triangle with Ranthambore National Park
Day 5: Fatehpur Sikri - Rathambore Once the capital of the Mughal Empire, Fatehpur Sikri has now been abandoned for hundreds of years, meaning it acts as an open-air time capsule. Step back in time and see the palaces and pavilions up close. This afternoon, head to Rathambore National Park by road and rail; famous for its overgrown fort and its Bengal tiger reserve. Day 6: Rathambore After spending days in the packed cities of India; today you’ll get to experience the country’s wilder side up close and personal. Take a morning and afternoon game drive, where you’ll see leopards, monkeys, birds, and - if you’re lucky - a Bengal tiger. Day 7: Rathambore - Jaipur After one final game drive this morning, it’s off to Jaipur; known as the Pink City because of its stunning rose- coloured palaces. Day 8: Jaipur There’s so much to see in Jaipur that today’s tour takes up the whole day. You’ll be driven to the Amber Fort, on a hilltop that looks over the city. If you’re lucky you might see elephants bathing in the nearby lake too. In Jaipur, you’ll explore Rajasthani and Mughal palaces, as well as the fascinating Jantar Mantar observatory. Day 9: Delhi Today you’ll take the coach back from Jaipur to Delhi, where you’ll be able to enjoy one last night in India before your flight home. Day 10: Delhi - UK After breakfast in the hotel, you’ll be taken to the airport for your flight back to the UK, where your driver will be waiting to drop you home.
