a 20km road through small villages, and climb and descend the next valley to Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and the hotel. The second part of your ride includes a picnic lunch, a climb up to San Romano’s Verrucole Castle, and descent back down to the hotel. Optional Castelnuovo de Garfagnana – Cathedral or Fortezza dell’Este. Day 5: Lucca Today’s 85km journey starts with a 25km climb up the Apuan Alps by support vehicle to the marble quarry of Henraux. Cycle to the top of the mountains; ride downhill to Viareggio, and follow the seafront roads to the walled city of Lucca to enjoy an afternoon picnic on the walls. Day 6: Lucca Today is a free day off the bike to relax or explore the sights of Lucca. Optional Cathedral of San Martino and Ilaria del Carretto Tomb; Palazzo Pfanner House and Gardens; Puccini Concert; Guinigi Tower Climb; or Torre delle Ore Climb. Day 7: Pisa Leave Lucca by bike and follow the 36km of flat leafy bike paths downstream alongside Serchio River to Pisa. After cycling through Pisa’s lively streets; check into the hotel. Optional Leaning Tower of Pisa;

Day 1: Florence Your Tuscany cycling adventure begins with a Welcome Meeting at 18:00. Optional Uffizi Gallery, Academia, Medici Chapels, Bargello Museum, or Baptistry, Museo Opera del Duomo, Giotto Bell Tower, and Brunelleschi Dome. Day 2: Vinci Your day starts with a bike fitting, short test ride, and an hour’s transfer to Signa. Your 35km ride takes in Empoli and Church of Sant’Andrea en-route to Vinci. After a short ride past Casa Natale di Leonardo, check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon. Optional Vinci - Museo Leonardiano Birthplace of Leonardo Board your hour’s transfer to Provence of Lucca to cycle to the medieval hilltop town of Barga. The 37km ride travels by the Serchio River and up to Borgo a Mozzano and Devil’s Bridge. The route becomes steep outside Barga – you may choose to cycle or ride the support vehicle to the hotel. Optional Dinner, Fondazione Pascoli, or Cathedral. Day 4: Garfagnana Take a 3km downhill ride to the valley floor, follow Combo Ticket. Day 3: Barga
