IDLE JETS Not often a problem, but we’ve got them if you need them. They must seal securely in the casting on that angled seat just below the cross-hole at the top end. 9542K $17.00 pair
ACCELERATOR PUMP ROD 97/81 All stainless steel with the correct swaged ends. Check you have the right size. This one is longer because the later 97 and 81 models have the improved throttle shaft end bracket with Summer and Winter choices. 9526K-97 $20.00 each
BOWL PLUG KIT Three brass plugs from under the float bowl with gaskets. 9522K $20.00 kit
BANJO FITTING GASKETS A pack of ten Stromberg banjo gaskets. A new material too - the
same high-tech nitrile/cellulose mix that we use for our main carburetor gaskets. Fits kits 9082K and 9083K. As with any banjo, you should replace the gaskets whenever you disconnect the fitting from the carburetor. There are two gaskets to each fitting. 9085K $5.00 set
FORD NUT & FERRULE Special brass compression fittings with the correct 1/2"-20 UNF thread for Stromberg inlet valves. Three fittings with brass ferrules for use with ¼" OD solid fuel line. Also fits most Ford Flathead fuel pumps, except the 1951-53 1BA glass-bowl pump with 1/8" NPT fittings. 9081K Plain $6.00 set 9081K-CHR Chrome $19.00 set
SNAPBACK TORSION RETURN SPRING
BANJO FITTINGS How cool are these! For perfect proportions, we make them from big diameter stainless steel material with a recess lip on each side to hide the gasket and move the bolt head closer to the banjo. We kept the wrench surfaces short, knocked the corners off the hex and rounded the bolt head too. They’re sized to fit both 5/16" and 3/8" hose, with plenty of fuel-flow guaranteed. Do not use with 3x2 Stromberg progressive linkage kits. 9082K Single End $26.00 each 9083K Double End $30.00 each
Our new stainless steel ‘Snapback’ throttle-return springs wrap around the end of the Stromberg throttle shaft and hook onto your linkage lever-arm to snap your carburetors shut. 9154K $10.00 pair CHOKE LOCK DETENT & SPRING Most Strombergs – even in multiples - run better with the choke plates in. But who needs rattling levers? Lock them open with this clever detent pin – press one end into your choke lever, and the other end into your spring then install it into the airhorn just like the stock item. 9537K-L $7.00 kit
THROTTLE SHAFT & BUSHING KIT Look at your throttle shaft. It’s 70 years old, worn to hell and causing a vacuum leak! This is the 97/81 style, but it works with 48 and 40 models if you use the 9526-97 accelerator pump rod. The bushings compress on installation so ream them through (0.278") to insure the correct clearance. 9581K $36.00 kit
AIRHORN FULCRUM SCREW KIT One holds the choke lever (9552K) on. The other fixes the accelerator-pump lever (9531K). One of each. Both stainless steel.
THROTTLE & CHOKE SCREWS If you’re removing the choke or throttle plates, new screws are a must. The hollow ends allow them to be staked on the back to prevent shaking loose. 9586K $6.00 set
9592K $12.00 kit
