M allory MBI, 50 Series mechanical advance distributors use a Magnetic Breakerless Ignition triggering system. It can drive either an OEM or high performance coil. It will increase potential RPM, improve combustion, give you longer spark plug life, and improved cold weather starting. Installing one is simply a matter of hooking up three wires. Like all Mallory distributors, the MBI has self-lubricating bushings, and a Super Duty cap and rotor.
