This represents an economic output of $2.5 billion on the Indian reservations where their gaming enterprises are located and an economic output of $6.0 billion off the reservation. The initial output that is generated on the Indian reservation comes from the wages being paid to all casino employees and the net income that the casino makes after paying for all its operating expenses. In total, $1,573,232,253 was paid to casino employees in 2020. As these employees spent their disposable incomes in the economy, another 11,810 jobs were generated, $771,322,492 in labor income created, $1,274,271,775 in value added, and produced an overall economic output of $2,265,691,662.

In 2020, Tribal gaming enterprises and their ancillary businesses engaged in purchases of goods and services for their operations saw overall employment gains of 22,039 jobs, $1,270,923,706 in labor income, $2,228,480,794 in value added and produced an overall economic output of $3,752,735,023

At the start of 2020, Tribal gaming operations and ancillary facilities in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City region supported 36,066 ongoing direct jobs. As the coronavirus spread and Tribal casinos started close in March, the operation’s ongoing jobs number fell to 3,607. This represented a drop of (90%).
