• Skilled in strategic operational planning, development and delivery • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills • Ability to manage confidential, difficult or sensitive matters • Technical knowledge of security priorities, policies and procedures • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively • Proven ability to manage and improve large and complex operational budgets • Knowledge of managing CCTV and other security systems • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and risk management. • Qualified to professional level or equivalent knowledge gained via substantial vocational experience in security leadership • Experience in a senior role in a large multi-site organisation • Experience of developing an organisational strategic security management plan, including the development of security polices and operating procedures • Experience of managing both an in-house and contracted security team • Has previously established and managed security provision across a multi-site estate • Experience of delivering change programmes from design to implementation • Experience of designing and implementing an emergency response plan • Project management and multi-stakeholder planning experience
