Congratulations to Angela Loprete our June Volunteer of the Month for MADD Connecticut! On January 28, 2010, Angela’s daughter Maryann was killed by a drunk driver just 2 weeks shy from her 28th birthday. The drunk driver was three times above the legal limit of .08. Angela has advocated throughout the years giving testimony at the State Capitol to change drunk driving laws and attended Walk Like MADD events in a hopes to create a future of No More Victims. We are truly grateful for Angela and her family.
