The Joseph Joachim Violin Competition takes place every three years and is organised by the Lower Saxony Foundation. We are looking for inquisitive minds who have mastered their instrument while remaining humble servants of great composers and their scores, young artists who courageously strive for individuality and make bold musical statements with the violin, musicians whose voices arouse deep emotions and show an extraordinary degree of versatility.
