The Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition is among the world’s most prestigious vocal contests, created for exceptional young singers. It is celebrated for its artistic excellence, diverse repertoire, generous prizes, and distinguished jury. Past prizewinners—such as Olaf Bär, Elīna Garanča, René Pape, Nadine Sierra, Andrea Rost, and Julia Lezhneva—have gone on to international success. The 10th edition will be held in Turku, Finland, with the final round at the new Turku Music Hall Fuuga, featuring the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by John Storgårds.
