Held in Valencia (Spain) and named after Valencian piano virtuoso José Iturbi, this biennial competition is open to young pianists from across the globe aged up to 34. With four challenging rounds including two solo recitals and two finals accompanied by the Orchestra of Valencia, its 25th edition in 2027 promises a thrilling competition in one of Spain’s most vibrant cities. First Prize is EUR 30,000 and a CD recording, while further prizes include EUR 20,000 for Second and EUR 10,000 for Third, with concert engagements for all three.
