The George Enescu International Competition is an international platform for promoting future world-class musicians, built as a natural extension of the George Enescu International Festival - the most important cultural event organized in Romania. The operating model of the Competition is inspired by the values in which George Enescu himself believed. It recognizes, encourages, and promotes young talents in classical music, just as the great Romanian composer supported and helped young musicians during his life. The George Enescu International Competition is organized by ARTEXIM, under the High Patronage of the President of Romania, financed by the Romanian Government through the Ministry of Culture.
