The Cleveland International Piano Competition seeks the future leaders of the piano world. With a global first round for <60 applicants, 16 Quarter-Finalists will be invited to Cleveland to compete for USD 150,000+ in prizes, including the USD 75,000 First Prize. Additional prizes include repertoire-based and Artist Development Program awards, such as university residencies, unique performance and learning opportunities, mentorship, and a newly endowed prize for the female contestant who reaches the furthest. Rounds include solo piano, concerto finals with The Cleveland Orchestra, and a Salon Round where each pianist will create a recital of solo and chamber that represents their story.
