Šta vi više volite kad je posao u pitanju? – Zima tokom letenja nije problem sama po sebi, ali jeste sezona koja traži više discipline i planiranja. Hladniji vazduh često donosi odlične performanse i neke zaista prelepe dane sa sjajnom vidljivošću. S druge strane, zimi često dolaze i gusta magla i smanjena vidljivost, što ume da zakomplikuje stvari. Tu su i „de-icing“ procedure, koje zahtevaju dodatnu pripremu pre poletanja i malo više strpljenja, ali su ključne. Zimske operacije najbolje pokažu koliko znače dobra priprema, poštovanje procedura, dobar plan i timski rad u kokpitu. Vreme je smirivanja nakon novogodišnje radosti. Koja bi destinacija bila idealna da čovek malo odmori dušu? – Ako pitanje gledamo lično, ja sam definitivno tip za tople destinacije. Posle praznične gužve i ubrzanog tempa najviše mi prija da odem negde gde se ritam prirodno uspori i gde te vreme i okruženje bukvalno nateraju da pustiš stres. More, toplo vreme, lagana rutina, dobra hrana, opuštena atmosfera i pozitivna energija prave idealan kontrast zimskoj svakodnevici i obavezama. Volim i taj osećaj jednostavnosti, bez žurbe. Nije poenta da se obilazi što više, nego da se čovek stvarno odmori – i mentalno i fizički. Koju god od morskih destinacija Er Srbije da izaberete, nećete pogrešiti. Na kraju letimo do mnogih gradova u čijem su komšiluku sjajne staze za skijanje. Imate li omiljena mesta za zimske aktivnosti? – Jedna od lepih stvari kod mreže destinacija Er Srbije je što letimo do gradova koji su sjajne polazne tačke za zimske aktivnosti – Cirih, Salcburg i Beč su odličan primer, jer su nadomak planina i ozbiljnih skijališta. Iako sam lično više tip za letnje odmore i tople destinacije, zimi volim da iskoristim priliku kad se poklope raspored i uslovi. Ako bih izdvojio jednu destinaciju, ona bi svakako bila u Austriji, gde uvek pronađem idealan zimski reset: aktivan dan na snegu i osećaj pravog odmora posle. Is winter flying problematic or does it have its advantages? What do you prefer when it comes to your job? “Winter flying isn’t a problem in and of itself, but it is a season that demands greater discipline and planning. Colder air often brings an excellent flight performance and some really beautiful days with brilliant visibility. On the other hand, winter often brings thick fog and reduced visibility, which can complicate matters. There are also de- icing procedures, which require additional preflight preparation and a bit more patience, but are essential. Winter operations best demon- strate the importance of good preparations, respecting procedures, a good plan and teamwork in the cockpit.” It’s now time to recuperate after the joy and exertion of the holidays, so which destination do you think would be ideal for so- meone seeking respite for the soul? “If we answer this question from a personal perspective, I’m de- finitely a guy for warm destinations. After the holiday commotion and accelerated pace subside, I most like to go somewhere whe- re the rhythm slows naturally and the weather and environment li- terally compel you to release stress. The seaside, warm weather, an easy-going routine, good food, a relaxed atmosphere and positi- ve energy create the ideal contrast to daily life and obligations during winter. I also love that sense of simplicity, without rushing. The po- int isn’t to “tour” as much as possible, but rather to really rest — both mentally and physically. Whichever of Air Serbia’s coastal destinati- ons you choose, you won’t go wrong.” Finally, we fly to many cities that are in the vicinity of great ski resorts. Do you have any favourite places for winter activities? “One of the nice things about Air Serbia’s destination network is that we fly to cities that are great launchpads for winter activities: Zurich, Salzburg and Vienna are great examples, as they are situa- ted close to mountains and serious ski resorts. Though I’m personally more of a summer holiday and warm destinations kind of guy, I like to take the opportunity to enjoy winter when the schedule and condi- tions align. If I had to single out one destination, that would definitely be Austria, where I always find the ideal winter reset: an active day in the snow, followed by a feeling of real rest.”
