ugh to be reached from the ci- ty in just a couple of hours. The ski runs are clearly marked, the infrastructure is excellent, and barely anyone returns from Flumserberg feeling like they haven’t had a great day. In the same category is Hoch-Ybrig, which is known for its wide ski runs and snowboarding cultu- re, while a standout destination that’s slightly further is Engel- berg-Titlis, with its serious he- ights and excellent conditions for winter sports. Snowy glamour Located about a three-hour dri- ve away from Zurich is St. Mori- tz, which is ideal for a weekend trip. This famous resort was placed on the map of the wor- ld jet-set by Günter Sachs, one of the last old-school playboys, when he started coming the- re with Brigitte Bardot during the second half of the 1960s. It was quickly transformed from a small town along the Ita- lian border to a fashionable re- sort that today boasts only the most luxurious hotels and re- staurants. Skiers jest that it's easier here to buy a Bentley or a Monet painting than a burger and fries. Glamour, polo, hor- se racing, gold, caviar, champa- gne... it all serves to make Saint

Moritz the world’s most glamo- rous ski resort. Its top ski runs are well connected to the ci- ty and are mostly red runs, wi- th a few blacks and blues. The highest peak, Piz Nair, stands at 3,057 metres and is known for having the steepest start in downhill skiing, where competi- tors reach speeds of up to 135 km/h before even making it to the first bend. Land of chocolate The Swiss use chocolate in all possible forms and for all occa- sions. They serve it alone, with espresso, sweet wine, whisky or cognac. It comes in the form of standard bars, truffles, prali- nes, cakes or sauces. Switzer- land actually led the chocolate revolution of the 19 th centu- ry, when François-Louis Cailler invented dark chocolate and Henri Nestle commercialised milk chocolate. Various ide- as have since sought to impro- ve or create as exotic a taste as possible, but local company Delafee has certainly gone the furthest by offering this delica- cy enriched with edible 24-ka- rat gold. We shouldn’t end wi- thout mentioning the exciting tour on Zurich’s so-called cho- colate train, which is simply pure enjoyment.

Cirih je najveći grad Švajcarske iako, kao što znate, nije glavni, jer ta čast pripada Bernu Zurich is Switzerland’s largest city, though - as you know - it isn’t the country’s capital, as that honour belongs to Bern
