IZLOŽBA / EXHIBITION

„Semantičke senke“ Saše Pančića Semantic Shadows by Saša Pančić

M uzej savremene umetnosti predstavlja „Semantičke sen- ke“ Saše Pančića u Galeriji-le- gatu Milice Zorić i Rodoljuba Čolakovića. Ova izložba predstavlja pregled Panči- ćevog likovnog stvaralaštva tokom po- slednjih dvadesetak godina, uključuju- ći i najnoviju produkciju koja obuhvata objekte, skulpture, crteže i video-radove. Od sredine devedesetih godina Pančić razvija autentičan vizuelni izraz zasno- van na temeljnim istraživanjima jezika apstrakcije kao složenog i otvorenog si- stema formi i znakova, koji varira od kulturnog nasleđa različitih civilizaci- ja, filozofskih učenja Istoka i Zapada do avangardnih i neoavangardnih umetnič- kih eksperimenata. U prepoznatljivom Pančićevom rukopisu vrtložnih prepli- tanja, bilo manuelno ili na druge načine iscrtanih, isečenih, savijanih elemena- ta, u međuigri njihovih površina i mo- delovanih praznina, nastaju perceptivno kompleksna likovna ostvarenja. Izložba će biti otvorena do 23. februara.

T he Museum of Contemporary Art is presenting Saša Pančić’s exhibi- tion Semantic Shadows at the Gal- lery Legacy of Milica Zorić and Rodoljub Čolaković. This exhibition presents a ret- rospective of Pančić’s work over the past twenty years, including his latest produc- tions that encompass objects, sculptures, drawings and video works. Pančić has been developing his own authen- tic visual expression since the mid-1990s, grounded in rigorous explorations of the language of abstraction as a complex, open system of forms and signs—one that ranges from the cultural traditions of various civ- ilisations and the philosophical teachings of East and West to avant-garde and neo- avant-garde artistic experiments. In Pančić’s distinctive vocabulary of vortex-like inter- weaving – whether drawn manually or pro- duced through cutting, bending, or other methods – the interplay of surfaces and shaped voids generates perceptually com- plex works. The exhibition remains open until 23 rd February.
