Ovo mi je najdraže doba godine. Volim zimu, svetla, miris kolača i onaj trenutak kada cela porodica napokon uspori This is my favourite time of the year. I love winter, the lights, the aroma of cakes, and that moment when the whole family finally unwinds

Christmas and New Year are behind us. How did you spend that time?

completely. That story about the search for his daughter becomes a metaphor – of the search for peace, for forgiveness, and for personal identity. It was ex- tremely demanding in an acting sense, because I had to balance internal pain and external control; the discipline of a soldier and the vulnerability of a parent. As someone who achieved worldwide popularity thanks to the show Grey’s Anatomy, how do you view that period of your career today? - That experience was unbelievable. I spent almost a decade on that show, and it became my home, my family, my school of acting. Working with Shon- da Rhimes and the entire team not on- ly shaped me as an actor, but also as a person. Grey’s Anatomy is a show that always knew how to combine drama and human aspects – and that’s why it’s still running. When people approach me and tell me how they grew up with those characters, I realise that it all had meaning. Do you miss that world of hospitals, doctors and medical dramas? - Sometimes, yes – especially the sense of togetherness on set. But every story has its own time. Hotel Costiera is completely

different – darker, deeper, more psycho- logical than procedural. And that suits me. It was time for me to explore some- thing new, to take a risk.

- That’s my favourite time of the year. I love winter, the lights, the aroma of cakes, and that moment when the whole fami- ly finally unwinds. I always try to be with my family, to avoid doing anything “im- portant”. The real magic of the holidays is in the little things: breakfast with the kids; cooking together, snow falling slow- ly. And then, as midnight approaches, you realise how grateful you are - for what you have, but also for what you’ve endured. How would you describe 2025 from your personal perspective? - It was challenging, but also filled with growth. I learned that peace doesn’t come when everything’s sorted out, but rath- er when you learn not to fight the waves. And the waves are constant – both in work and in life. That’s why I love the sea: it always reminds me that change is a nat- ural thing. And to conclude, what would you like to wish our readers for the upcoming years? - To find their own peace, wherever they are. To stop chasing perfection and learn to appreciate the moments that seem small, but are actually the biggest. And, of course, to travel.

The show was shot on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. How was that experience?

- Italy is magical. It wasn’t my first time visiting, but shooting there – between the sea and the mountains – is an ex- perience that shifts one’s perspective. The Amalfi Coast has a special rhythm – lights, aromas, colours... everything seems dreamlike. When you’re not on set, you simply sit by the sea, drink es- presso and watch how the day melts in- to the sea. Those are moments that re- store balance. Do you like to travel privately? Where do you find inspiration? - Travelling is my way of resetting my soul. Whenever I have time, I choose destinations where I can lose myself – places that aren’t packed with tour- ists. I love mountains, serenity, and places where people still live in harmo- ny with nature. I was in Japan a few years ago, and that was an experience that changed me profoundly. I realised that travelling isn’t about escaping, but rather is a way to better understand oneself.
