In a world that’s increasingly seeking responsible investment models, Treesury’s project in Serbia attracts attention as an innovative combination of nature, technology and long-term financial growth. This initiative aims to make agricultural investment – traditionally reserved for a small group of investors – accessible more broadly. By applying blockchain technology and tokenising real assets, Treesury enables transparent, digital and long-term investment in hazelnut cultivation. The investment model is based on a clear and simple link between the digital and physical worlds: one token (€147) equals one hazelnut tree. Investors thus contribute directly to the development of sustainable agriculture, while generating passive income. The Treesury platform offers projected annual returns of 11-15 per cent over a period of up to 40 years, without requiring prior experience in investing or agriculture. The token, which functions as a digital green bond, is fully regulated under the Law on Digital Assets of the Republic of Serbia, with its White Paper officially approved by the Securities Commission. More than 50 hectares of hazelnut orchards have already been planted at the plantation in Čoka, and since its inception this project has enjoyed the support of institutions like the World Bank, EBRD, the BioSense Institute and the Innovation Fund. Sam token ima karakter digitalne zelene obveznice i u potpunosti je regulisan Zakonom o digitalnoj imovini Republike Srbije, uz odobren Beli papir Komisije za hartije od vrednosti. Na plantaži u Čoki već je zasađeno više od 50 hektara lešnika, a projekat od samog početka uživa podršku institucija poput Svetske banke, EBRD-a, BioSense instituta i Fonda za inovacionu delatnost. A kako stabla rastu i sazrevaju, raste i vrednost investicije, stvarajući dugoročnu korist za investitore i životnu sredinu.
