Musahamaat Fikriyya – Constructs of Creativity M في خضم السّعي الإنساني المتجدّد إلى ما يَهِب الحياة معناها الأعمق، تبرز شخصيّات قادرة علـــــــى انتزاع الفن من حدود اللّوحة والتّصميـــــــم، ودفعه ليصبح جســـــــرًا تعبره الـــــــرّؤى النبيلة إلى أرض الواقع. مِدها ناندا واحدة من تلك الأصـــــــوات المضيئة؛ فهي فنّانة متمرّســـــــةٌ، ومصمّمة ملهمةٌ، وناشطة في المجال الإنســـــــانيّ، وقد أرْسَـــــــت عبر ” مبدأ راسخًا: أن Art be a Part منصّتها “ يكون للإبداع، بكل أطيافه، غاية اجتماعيّة أســـــــمى من مجرّد الجمال. ومن هذا اليقين ، 2022 العميق، انبثقت المبـــــــادرة في عام لتتّخذ من الفن أداة محوريّة لحشد الموارد، وفتح آفاق التّعليم الشّـــــــامل للجميع، ومد يـــــــد العـــــــون للمجتمعات التـــــــي تئن تحت وطـــــــأة نقص الإمكانـــــــات. والأهم من ذلك، أنّها أخذت على عاتقها مهمّة نســـــــج خيوط التّعاون المثمر بين الفنّانين، والمؤسّسات، والعاملين في المجال الإنسانيّ. نجوم الســـــــينما، وروّاد الأعمال المؤثّرين، والشخصيّات السياسيّة البارزة. Medha Nanda is a designer, artist, and philanthropist whose platform, Art be a Part , is built on a clear belief: that creativity can and should serve a greater social purpose. Since launching in 2022, the initiative has used art to mo- bilise resources for inclusive education, support under-re- sourced communities, and forge meaningful collabora- tions between artists, institutions, and philanthropists. Ms Nanda’s creative path began in design, with studies at Pearl Academy in Delhi and later RMIT in Melbourne. In 2015, she moved to Dubai and that marked the begin- ning of a new phase. Immersed in the city’s growing arts ecosystem, she began painting and reconnecting with fine art as a form of personal and public expression, whilst at the same time focusing on growing her family. As she reconnected more deeply with her art practice, Ms Nanda began to consider how she could do more; something with greater reach and purpose. She saw an opportunity to leverage her creative skills, networks, and experience to support causes she cared about and to build something that extended beyond the studio. That impulse led to the founding of Art be a Part . What stands out in Ms Nanda’s story is her ability to translate creative vision into structures that serve oth- ers. Whether building a fashion label or launching a philanthropic platform, she has focused on connection and impact. With Art be a Part , that drive has taken on a broader social dimension, bringing together artists, institutions, and communities around shared goals. Founded in 2022, Art be a Part has raised over AED 3 mil- lion in partnership with Dubai Cares and UNICEF India, supporting education access and inclusion. Its annual gala auction has become a fixture on the Dubai cultural calendar, with works donated by global artists including eL Seed, Lorenzo Quinn, and Paresh Maity. Through ex- hibitions, workshops, and direct funding, the platform has supported projects ranging from inclusive class- rooms in India to mobile art collaborations in the UAE. The Art be a Part Gala 2025, which was held in Dubai’s the Museum of the Future on 7 November under the ti- tle ‘Beyond the Frame: Art and the Future of Inclusion,’ was filled with art collectors, industry insiders, and supporters of Ms Nanda’s mission – all coming together
