مع ترسّخ المزاد السّنوي ليُصبح موعدًا ثابتًا على الأجندة الثقافيّة في دبي، هل يمكن أن تحدّثينا عن سر نجاحه، ولماذا تعتقدين أنّه يلامس شـــــــريحة واســـــــعة ومتباينة من الجماهير؟ بفضـــــــل القيـــــــادة الحكيمـــــــة ذات الرّؤية الثّاقبـــــــة، تحوّلت دبي إلـــــــى مجتمع دولي نابض بالحياة، ومركز عالمي متألّق للفنون والثّقافة. فالمدينة مثال ساطع يُحتذى به في الشموليّة والأثر الإيجابيّ، ممّا يجعلها Art be a الموطن الأمثل لمبادرات مثل “ ”. أشعر بفخر عميق للتّعاون الوثيق Part مع مؤسّســـــــة “دبي العطاء”، وممتنّة غاية الامتنان لكل فرد من فريق العمل لتفانيهم في تحويل رســـــــالتنا إلى واقـــــــع ملموس يفتح أبواب التّعليم الشّامل أمام الأطفال من أصحاب الهمم. ” Art be a Part ، نجحت “ 2021 ومنذ عام في جمع أكثـــــــر من ثلاثـــــــة ملايين درهم إماراتي لصالح “دبي العطاء” واليونيسف في الهند، وذلـــــــك من خلال مزادات بيعت فيها أكثر من ستّين عملا فنيًّا نفيسًا. جمـــــــع الحدث فـــــــي عامـــــــه الماضي أكثر مليـــــــون درهـــــــم إماراتي لصالح 1.5 من “دبـــــــي العطاء” واليونيســـــــف في الهند. هل يمكنك أن تشـــــــاركينا بعض المشاريع أو المجتمعات التي اســـــــتفادت من هذه المســـــــاهمات، وما نوع الأثـــــــر المضاعف الذي لاحظتموه؟
لقد أدّت الأموال التي جُمعت دورًا محوريًّا في خلق فُرص ذات معنًـــــــى للعاملين في الصّفوف الأماميّـــــــة وللمعلّمين، ممّا مكّنهم مـــــــن الوصول إلـــــــى الأطفال المهمّشـــــــين بفاعليّة أكبر. كما ســـــــاعدت هذه التبرّعات في تعزيـــــــز أنظمة التّعليـــــــم لضمان تكافؤ الفـــــــرص في الوصـــــــول إليها، ممّـــــــا يُمكّن الأطفـــــــال من بنـــــــاء المهارات الأساســـــــيّة للاستعداد للمدرسة، واكتساب القدرة على القراءة والكتابة والحســـــــاب، التي تُشكل جميعها الأساس لرحلة التعلّم مدى الحياة. وأسهمت مبادراتنا أيضًا في تحسين طرق الكشـــــــف عن الإعاقات، وتوحيد إجراءات التّقييـــــــم، وتعزيز التّعاون مـــــــع قطاعات الصحّـــــــة والعدالة الاجتماعيّـــــــة. ونتيجة لذلك، شهدنا ارتفاعًا ملموسًا في معدّلات التّسجيل، إلى جانب تنفيذ برامج التّعليم المنزلي للأطفال ذوي الإعاقات الشّديدة. كما يجـــــــري تدريـــــــب الأهالـــــــي ومقدّمي الرّعاية لتمكينهم من مواصلة الدّعم داخل المنزل، بما يضمن استمراريّة الرّعاية. وإحـــــــدى الرّكائز الأساســـــــيّة فـــــــي تطوير التّعليم الشـــــــامل كانـــــــت تطوير إجراءات ) لغرف SOP تشـــــــغيل موحّدة وشـــــــاملة ( الموارد، بدعم من اليونيسف. وتضع هذه الإجراءات معايير الجودة للبنية التحتيّة، وتقييـــــــم الأطفـــــــال، والدّعـــــــم الأكاديمي والعلاجيّ، والتّنسيق بين مختلف الجهات
initiatives like Art be a Part . I am humbled to be associated with Dubai Cares and deeply grateful to the entire team for their cooperation and dedication in helping make our mission of inclusive education a reality for children of determination. Since 2021, Art be a Part has successful- ly raised over AED 3 million for Dubai Cares and UNICEF India through the auction of more than 60 artworks. Last year’s event raised over AED 1.5 million for Du- bai Cares and UNICEF India. Can you share some of the projects or communities that have benefited from the funds raised what kind of ripple effect have you seen from it? The funds raised have played a crucial role in creating meaningful opportunities for frontline workers and teachers, empowering them to reach marginalised chil- dren more effectively. They have also helped strengthen education systems to ensure equitable access, enabling children to build essential school readiness, literacy, and numeracy skills that lay the foundation for life- long learning. Our initiatives have led to better disability identifica- tion, standardised assessment procedures, and stronger collaboration with the health and social justice sectors. As a result, we’ve seen a rise in enrolment, along with the implementation of Home-Based Education pro- grams for children with severe disabilities. Parents and caregivers are also being trained to provide continued support at home. A key milestone in advancing inclusive education has been the development of a comprehensive Standard Op- erating Procedure [SOP] for resource rooms, supported by UNICEF. This SOP establishes quality standards for infrastructure, child assessment, academic and ther- apeutic support, and multi-stakeholder coordination, ensuring a more consistent and effective approach to in- clusive learning. Besides the above, we have also supported the Aldona Arts Foundation [AAF] in Goa, India where, through our support over 600 students of 4 lesser resourced schools have now explored theatre, capoeira, painting, and more, discovering confidence, connection, and joy along the way. The classrooms are vibrant with energy, and for many children, our initiative, SpArK has be- come a highlight of their week, a safe space where they can express who they are. Can you also tell us about your work with the Spe- cial Needs Future Foundation [SNF] in Dubai and eL Seed’s participation in this special project? A van is more than just a vehicle, it’s a gateway to in- dependence, exploration, and opportunity for the stu- dents at the Special Needs Future Foundation. When SNF shared their one wish with us, we knew we had to come together to make it happen, and we’re proud to have donated a mini bus to support their incredible jour- ney. What made this initiative even more special was when eL Seed generously offered his time and talent to paint the mini bus with the students of SNF, transform- ing the mini bus into a vibrant, moving work of art. What does it mean to you to have artists like him contribute to Art be a Part’s mission this year? eL Seed’s participation brings a truly powerful and in- spiring dimension to this year’s gala. His contribution, particularly in engaging directly with the students and helping transform the donated minibus into a moving

كشفت لنا عن الإمكانات الهائلة الكامنة في هذه المبادرة، لا ســـــــيّما عندما يُمنح الناس الفُرصـــــــة ليصبحوا جزءًا مـــــــن هدف نبيل يتجاوز حدود وجودهم الفرديّ. ”Art be a Part كيف تطوّرت مبادرة “ منذ تأسيسها، سواء من حيث الحجم أو من حيث منهجيّتكم في إشراك الفنّانين والشّركاء والجمهور؟ في البداية، كان التحدّي يكمن في اكتساب الاعتراف والوصول إلـــــــى الفئات المعنيّة، ولقد شـــــــكّل الدّعم اللا محدود من زوجي فارقًـــــــا جوهريًّا لا يُقدّر بثمن. وكان الهدف الأساســـــــي من أوّل حفلين ســـــــنويّين هو ترســـــــيخ هويّتنا وإثبات غايتنا في ميدان العمل الخيـــــــريّ. بفضل الدّعم الذي قدّمته منطّمة اليونيســـــــف في الهند ومؤسّســـــــة
“دبـــــــي العطـــــــاء”، تمكّنا من إحـــــــداث أثر ملموس خلال تلك الفعاليّات الافتتاحيّة. ومع حلول العام الثّالـــــــث، بدأ عدد متزايد من الفنّانين العالميّيـــــــن في الانضمام إلى مســـــــيرتنا، متبرّعين بأعمالهم بسخاء بالغٍ. وكان هناك دعم كبير من مبدعين يتمتّعون بروح العطاء، مثل لورينزو كوين، وباريش مايتي، ولوك غوس، وإل سيد، إذ أسهموا جميعًا في توســـــــيع نطاق الاعتراف الذي نحظى به. أمّا الشّـــــــركاء، مثل “إلينغتـــــــون العقارية” و“تاج دبي”، فيضمنون اســـــــتدامة عملنا، ونحـــــــن ممتنّـــــــون لمجتمـــــــع رائـــــــع يؤمن بصدق بما نقوم به، ويُســـــــهم في توســـــــيع دائرة جمهورنا عبر تناقـــــــل الكلمة الطّيبة والتّوصية المباشرة.

By the third year, more artists began joining us, generously donat- ing their work — compassionate creators like Lorenzo Quinn, Paresh Maity, Luke Goss, and eL Seed have been incredible supporters and have helped us grow in rec- ognition. Partners such as Ellington Properties and Taj Dubai enable us to stay sustainable, and we are blessed to have an incredible community that believes in the work we do and helps the audience grow through word of mouth. With the annual gala auction now a fixture on Du- bai’s cultural calendar, can you talk about its suc- cess and why do you think it connects with such a wide variety of audiences? It is thanks to visionary leadership that Dubai has be- come a vibrant international community and a global hub for art and culture.
