و“ســـــــرد الذّهب”، المستقاة مسمّياتهما من قصائد المغفور له بإذن اللّــــــــه- الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيّان، طيّب اللّــــــــه ثراه، عـــــــن منطلقات وأهداف الرّؤية الإستراتيجيّة للمركز، والتي تتمحور حول تعزيـــــــز مكانة اللّغة العربيّـــــــة، والثقافة الإماراتيّة، وتشـــــــجيع الإبداع، ودعم المواهب الأدبيّة، ونشر الأدب العربي والشعبي عالميًّا.” وأشار ســـــــعادته إلى أن إطلاق المركز لجائزة “كنز ، شكّل حدثًا 2022 الجيل” في دورتها الأولى العام مهمًّـــــــا، ورائدًا فـــــــي المنطقة، فالجائزة اســـــــتمدّت اســـــــمها من إحدى قصائد المغفور له الشـــــــيخ زايد بن ســـــــلطان آل نهيّان، طيّب اللّــــــــه ثراه، وارتكزت في فروعهـــــــا على تجربته الإبداعيّـــــــة، لمحاكاتها بالكلمة والفن والدراســـــــة والترجمة، يُعتبر السبب الأوّل والأهـــــــم فـــــــي الإقبال على المشـــــــاركة فيها والترشّح لفروعها. وقال: “تمتّع طيّب اللّــــــــه ثراه، بمكانة عظيمـــــــة في الأفئدة والوجـــــــدان العربيّ، قائدًا عظيمًا، ورمزًا خالدًا للتّوحيد وبناء الأوطان ونهضة الإنسان، متســـــــلّحًا بالحكمة وسداد الرّأي، بحيث كانت تجربته الإبداعيّة في الشعر الشعبيّ، مـــــــرآة ناصعة تعكس رؤاه الرشـــــــيدة، وتبنّيه لقيم نبيلة تنشـــــــر الخير والعدل والرحمة، وتقدّم العون والنصيحـــــــة. ما جعل الجائـــــــزة منذ إطلاقها محل اهتمـــــــام إقليمي وعالمـــــــيّ، تقديـــــــرًا لمكانة الأب المؤسّس، ولقدرتها على صنع حركة ثقافيّة جعلت من تجربة الشـــــــيخ زايد الإبداعيّة محورًا ونقطة انطلاق لإبداع جديدٍ، يســـــــتقي وجوده، من فرادة تلك التجربة.” وعن اهتمام جائزة “كنز الجيل”، بالشّعر، والفنون، والدراسات المتّصلة بالشعر النبطيّ، قال سعادته: “يعكـــــــس هـــــــذا الاعتناء مـــــــدى اهتمـــــــام الجائزة بالحفاظ علـــــــى الإرث الثقافـــــــي الإماراتيّ، وإبراز قيمتـــــــه وقيمه، وإثـــــــراء الواقع الأدبـــــــي المحلّي، والعربي بأفكار متميّـــــــزة وطروحات مبتكرة، إلى جانب الهدف الأســـــــاس: تكريم الأعمال الشعريّة “النبطيّة” والبحـــــــوث، والدراســـــــات الفلكلوريّة، وتكريم الدارسين والمبدعين، الذين قدّموا أعمالا تناولت الموروث المتّصل بالشـــــــعر النبطي وقيمه الأصيلة، عبر ســـــــتّة فروع اشتملت عليها الجائزة: المجاراة الشعريّة، والدراسات والبحوث، والفنون، والإصدارات الشـــــــعريّة، والترجمة، والشـــــــخصيّة الإبداعيّة، التي يتم اختيـــــــار الفائز فيها بناء على مدى اســـــــتيفاء عمله لمعاييـــــــر الجائزة، وارتباطها بإرث الشـــــــيخ زايد، لتشكّل إلهامًا للأجيال المقبلة، وتعزّز ارتباطهم بإرثهم الثقافيّ.” وفي ما يتعلّق بإغلاق باب المشـــــــاركة في الدورة الرابعة من الجائزة، أوضح سعادته: “بلغت أعداد الدول غير العربيّة التي ترشّـــــــحت للمشاركة في دولة عربيّة، 19 دولةً، مقابـــــــل 16 فـــــــروع الجائزة كما اســـــــتقطبت الجائـــــــزة دولا أجنبيّة تشـــــــارك للمـــــــرّة الأولى مثـــــــل: ألمانيا، الســـــــويد، أوكرانيا، صربيا، نيجيريا، كولومبيا، الإكوادور، ســـــــريلانكا، 830 وأوزبكســـــــتان. بمجموع مشـــــــاركات فـــــــاق مشاركة في الدورة السابقة، 601 مشاركةً، مقابل ما يعكس تنامي الثّقة بالجائزة ومكانتها المتقدّمة على خريطة الجوائز الأدبيّـــــــة المتخصّصة، التي حوّلتهـــــــا من جائزة إلى منصّة ثقافيّة تســـــــتقطب
once attracted only dozens of entries, this cycle alone received 1,117 submissions.” Addressing the award’s social impact, he noted that this cycle saw a 12 per cent increase in the number of nomi- nated women writers compared to the previous edition, reflecting the award’s role in supporting and encourag- ing female authors. By highlighting their creativity, the award strengthens their presence within the cultural and social landscape. In the same context, there was a notable 80 per cent in- crease in participation from cultural institutions com- pared to the previous cycle, alongside a 16 per cent in- crease in submissions from non-Arab countries relative to Arab countries. The Arab Republic of Egypt maintained its leading position among Arab countries in terms of participation, while the United States of America con- tinued to rank first among non-Arab countries. He explained that the award’s global appeal - reflected in the strong commitment to participate, as well as the rec- ognition and honours it has received from leading cul- tural institutions and Arab and international media - is a source of great pride. “It motivates us to invest greater effort,” he said, “and to introduce innovative ideas that further develop the award, expand its initiatives and parallel events, and strengthen its global presence. All of this contributes to broader recognition of the Arabic lan- guage, its heritage, and its culture, enabling the award to build on its successes and add to its achievements with each new cycle.” He continued: “What gives us the greatest satisfaction at the Centre is being able to present awards across all categories. Honouring both established literary figures and emerging creative voices reflects the vitality of the cultural renaissance we are witnessing. We are proud that the Sheikh Zayed Book Award has been conferred on 136 creators who earned it on merit, including a distinguished group of writers and thinkers from the United Arab Emirates, whose literary, intellectual, and scholarly contributions have enriched libraries and ad- vanced the cultural landscape.” He added that the other awards launched by the Cen- tre - Kanz Al Jeel and Sard Al Thahab - are likewise rooted in the Centre’s strategic vision and objectives. Their names, drawn from the poetry of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reflect a shared commitment to strengthening the standing of the Arabic language, promoting Emirati culture, encouraging creativity, supporting literary talent, and advancing both Arabic and folk literature on a global scale. He noted that the launch of the Kanz Al Jeel Award in its inaugural cycle in 2022 marked a significant and pioneering moment in the region. Named after one of Sheikh Zayed’s poems, the award structures its catego- ries around his creative legacy, engaging with it through writing, art, scholarship, and translation. This focus, he explained, has been the principal driver behind the strong interest in the award and the high level of par- ticipation across its categories. He continued: “Sheikh Zayed occupies a profound place in the hearts and collective memory of the Arab World. He was a great leader and an enduring symbol of unity, nation-building, and human advancement. Guided by wisdom and sound judgement, his creative experience in Nabati poetry became as a clear reflection of his en-

From the moment of its launch, this legacy has endowed the award with regional and international resonance, in recognition of the Founding Father’s stature and the award’s capacity to generate a dynamic cultural movement - one that po- sitions Sheikh Zayed’s creative experience as both a central reference point and a spring- board for new forms of creativity inspired by its uniqueness.” On the Kanz Al Jeel Award’s focus on poetry, the arts, and studies related to Nabati poetry, he explained that this emphasis reflects the award’s deep commitment to preserving the Emirati cultural heritage, highlighting its significance and values, and enriching the local and Arab literary landscape with distinctive ideas and innovative perspectives. At its core, the award seeks to honour Nabati poetic works, scholarly research, and folkloric studies, while recognising researchers and creators whose work engages with the heri- tage of Nabati poetry and its enduring values. He noted that the award comprises six categories: Poetry Matching, Studies and Research, the Arts, Poetic Publications, Translation, and the Creative Personality Award. Winners are selected based on the extent to which their work meets the award’s criteria and its alignment with the legacy of Sheikh Zayed, ensuring that this heritage continues to in-
