social, economic, psychological, moral and value variables, has revealed a set of issues, models and paradigms, in light of which the protest action can be explained, and the central question of why people respect can be answered. In this regard, determinants and elements independent of the theoretical study of social movements emerge, and seek to explain and understand the protest action, and rely on collective memory, identity, and the moral and value system that organizes and defines the relationship of the individual and the group with political authority. This paper presents a review of the literary center that deals with political memory in its relationship to protest, as well as the literature that examines other moral and value determinants to understand the justification for protest, such as the moral economy that embodies the system of value judgments appropriate to the human being, so that the paper can also examine how to contribute to these multidimensional determinants, in feeding protest behavior by taking model cases and comparative protest experiences Keywords: Protest, political Memory, Moral economy
